Why is there a deadline for Venue Registration?

We have a deadline for LTA Registration for two reasons:

  • A key benefit of registering is access to the 2018 Wimbledon ticket Ballot, the administration of which requires time spent by the Ballot team at the LTA over the early part of the year, so they need to have an early and final complete list of all registered venues eligible for the Ballot. Therefore, any non-member venue by the deadline of 30th November 2017 is not eligible.
  • Our insurance provider requires us to provide a complete list of registered venues for whom insurance is considered valid. In order to do this, we need to encourage venues to have a short window of time as possible where venues are lapsed and need to renew.
