The local council/school/university etc owns our courts, who is responsible for ensuring compliance with the standards?
It is not acceptable for organisations to say that ‘someone else uses our courts so it is their responsibility’. These organisations have registered their courts with the LTA; therefore there should be someone who is responsible on behalf of that organisation for the minimum standards. It may be that the council/school/university sources a volunteer to be responsible and this is fine. Registered or not, there should be someone at the venue who is identifiable to report concerns to. Without this you leave yourself at risk.
