Help & FAQs

My child is 11 years old but I can't opt them into the British Tennis Membership Wimbledon Ballot, why is this?

You must hold either British Tennis Adult (18+) or British Tennis Junior (11-17yrs) Membership to opt into the British Tennis Membership Wimbledon Ballot.

Child Members (4-10yrs) are not eligible to opt into the British Tennis Membership Wimbledon Ballot.

British Tennis Membership runs for 12 months from date of issue.

Membership for members of an LTA registered tennis club is renewed on 31 January every year.

If a Child Member turns 11 during their annual Child Membership year, their membership will renew to a Junior Lite Membership on 31 January. It cannot be renewed prior to this date.

A Child member can however upgrade to Junior Team Membership (£10) from the age of 11.

Child Members who are not members of an LTA registered tennis club will need to renew annually.

If a Child member turns 11 during their annual Child Membership year, they can upgrade to Junior Team Membership (£10) from the age of 11.
