What do I do if my coach does not meet the requirements in time?

The responsibility is on both the venue and coach to ensure that the coach achieves this safeguarding standard. Please work closely with your coaches to ensure they are aware of their pre-requisites and status. A coaches status and expiry date (if they are currently Accredited) can be checked on the LTA website here.

Both venues and coaches are being notified of the new standard 4 months in advance of the venue registration window opening so there is plenty of time to ensure your coach meets all of the pre-requisites to achieve Accreditation.

The venue safeguarding support visits will continue in 2020 and venues found to be failing to comply with these standards and the venue standards introduced last year are at risk of having their venue registration and benefits removed.
